It is with much sadness we have received the news that John Lambert has passed away.
John and Bett have been active and loyal members to Strawberry Island for many years, with Bett taking on the role of Social Treasurer for 10 years.
John’s funeral will be held on Friday 14 September 2018 at 2.00pm at Grenoside Crematorium.
Our thoughts are with Bett and family and all their friends at this sad time.
NOTICE TO EVERYONE.
The club's fire extinguishers are being serviced on Thursday 19th July. If members want their own extinguishers serviced I suggest they turn up about 11o'clock and they will be done for a small fee.

”I have spoken with Bob the steward today and unfortunately Beryl has been admitted to hospital and is in a critical condition in DRI. As I am currently on holiday there may be times when the bar may not open as expected. Whilst every effort will be made to maintain the status quo I ask for everyone to be understanding and we all wish Beryl a swift and full recovery.”
