Welcome to the Strawberry Island Boat Club web site. We are a premier boat club based on the South Yorkshire Navigation at Doncaster.

​

We are now in our 54th year. SIBC continues to offer some of the best facilities anywhere on the system. From a state of the art boat lift to the recently refurbished clubhouse. Whilst much of what we now enjoy is a testament to our founder members SIBC is a participation club and as such our members continue to develop and improve our amenities.

 

Strawberry Island is a great base for leisure cruising with easy access to the northern canal network or the River Trent if you're heading south.
